This study explores the relationship between anxiety and art through personal visual art representations and reflections. It is the journey and story of one person’s experience with anxiety: my experience. The autoethnographic representation of my experiences with anxiety will allow readers the opportunity to explore with me the creative process and how creating art helps me accept and cope with my anxiety. This exploration will help to positively influence and strengthen my professional counselling work with individuals who are dealing with anxiety. In addition, in accompanying me on my journey and reflecting on their own and others’ experiences with anxiety, this study may prepare counsellors, educators, researchers, family, friends, and the community at large to better support people with anxiety.
