Abstract

One of Lewis Carroll's most precious concerns was that of the welfare of his child friends. Being preoccupied with the schooling systems and socialization to which his friends fell prey, Carroll responds satirically with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This story deals with issues of propriety and manners as well as with the education system of Victorian England. The heroine serves the purpose as expositor of the absurd training for boys and girls but especially .With the socialization of girls. This study examines Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as it pertains to Alice's involvement with the characters of Wonderland and her responses to them concerning her mission as purveyor of common sense.
